Lisa was born and raised in Selkirk, Manitoba.
She began playing volleyball in grade 7 for her school team. It wasn't until grade 9 when
she made the Manitoba Provincial team that she began playing seriously (all year round). Ultimately,
Lisa ended up playing 4 years at the University of Manitoba, 7 years with Team Canada, and 3 years of professional volleyball in Europe.
She is currently teaching Junior and Senior High School in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

in Selkirk was Provincial Champions in 1986/1987 and 1988/1989.

Lisa went back and forth between university and national team for many years. Some highlights from

1990 World Championships in Beijing, China.
1991 FISU Games - Sheffield, England.
1993 Canada Cup - Silver medal.

1993 Norceca's - Bronze medal.
1994 Canada Cup - Silver medal.
1995 Canada Cup - Bronze medal(?)
