Click on the following links for information about each of our VPC host cities (attractions, events, food, lodging, maps, etc.) A note from Judy Goldsworthy, Boarding Facility Manager (Calgary Camps Only) Over the past eight years I have boarded over 250 student athletes for summer camps from all over Canada and the United States. I am currently an elementary teacher at Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School in Calgary, Alberta and enjoy providing this service during July. Athletes have several options for sleeping arrangements from beds to cots as well as air mattresses. My single-family home is located in Sundance, a southeast city district, in Calgary. The house is easily able to accommodate between 12 to 15 athletes per week. This year's boarding fee will be $ 295.- CDN Dollars and will include 5 nights accommodation, 3 meals per day as well as transportation to and from Rally Pointe. The boarding time frame will be from Sunday evening until Friday afternoon. Additional nights are available at the price of $ 70.- CDN Dollars per night, which will also include an additional 3 meals. Also available are airport and bus terminal pick-up and drop-off. For a small additional fee, I will look after your daughter by either picking her up from the airport or bus terminal or dropping her off or both. In order to cover mileage expenses we have instituted a fee of $ 40.- CDN Dollars for a one-way fare and $ 70.- CDN Dollars for a two-way fare. Just to give you a frame of reference, a one-way taxi fare to the Calgary International Airport from the boarding facility is $ 60.- If you are interested in having your daughter board at my home, please contact me directly by email at goldswj@sts.ab.ca no later than May 31, 2012. I would appreciate knowing her arrival and departure dates, whether she requires airport or bus terminal pickup, and any other particulars. We will then discuss payment and my cancellation policy, provided there is available space for your desired dates. Thank you and I am looking forward to being your daughter's boarding mother.
