Freimark, currently completing her NCCP Level 3 certification, holds a B.Ed from the U of A and is taking a Master of Education, Physical Education in Coaching Studies program at the University of Victoria.
Dusty Freimark, originally from Brooks, Alberta, has been either playing or coaching volleyball for most of her life. She played volleyball at Brooks High School and Medicine Hat College prior to coming to Edmonton to play with the U of A Pandas from 2002-04. Following her graduation, Freimark returned to coach in Brooks, then moved on to coach the NAVC Midget and Juvenile teams before teaming with Laurie Eisler and the rest of the Pandas coaching staff this past year for their successful run to the CIS Championship. In 2007, Dusty was named the head coach of the NAIT women’s volleyball team.
