Boarding Information

Calgary Only

Ms. Judy Goldsworthy, who is a teacher at Strathcona- Tweedsmuir School, will be running the boarding facility. The location is in southeast Calgary, a district called Sundance about 15 minutes from Strathcona- Tweedsmuir School. The facility is able to accommodate 12 to 15 campers in each week.

This years boarding fee will be $ 275.- CDN Dollars and will include 5 nights accommodation, 3 meals per day as well as transportation to and from the practice facility. The boarding time frame will be from Sunday evening until Friday afternoon.

Additional nights are available at the price of $ 60.- CDN Dollars per night, which will also include and additional 3 meals.

Also available are airport and bus terminal pick-up and drop-off. For a small additional fee we will look after your daughter by either picking her up from the airport or bus terminal or dropping per off or both. In order to cover mileage expenses we have instituted a fee of $ 30.- CDN Dollars for a one-way fare and $ 60.- CDN Dollars for a two-way fare. Just to give you a frame of reference, a one-way taxi fare to the Calgary International Airport from the boarding facility is $ 55.-

Important Information:

If you are planning on pursuing the boarding in Calgary, you must indicate this, when registering for the actual skills camp.
If the camper is from outside of Calgary please provide details in regards to the campers arrival and departure times and dates as soon as they are available.
If the camper is from out of country please provide the boarding mothers with detailed information regarding health care coverage and insurance. This must be provided as additional documentation to the boarding registration sheet.
